Why are Chief Wildlife Warden G. Harikumar & some [Not All] Top officers in the Forest Department Blocking the Conservation of New Species Neelagirikaduva?

1. The Chief Wildlife Warden G. Harikumar & some [Not All] Top officers in the Forest Department are not really interested in conservation, but only in Making Money, even through corruption.

2. They are more interested in Fun, Rest & Recreation than Protecting a Rare & New Species!

3. They don't want to take Responsibility or Risk [as they view it] of Conserving Neelagirikaduva!

4. If something happens to Neelagirikaduva, after acknowledge it, then they are answerable. They can avoid it by NOT acknowledgeing it!! Quite Simple!!

5. They are Very Intelligent! Chief Wildlife Warden G. Harikumar & some [Not All] Top officers know that If they don't acknowledge the New Species Neelagirikaduva, then they need not Waste their valuable Time by Protecting it!!!

Why was NK's photos not obtained despite camping in Kanjani for 2 months?

What all are Necessary for you to obtain the Photographs of Neelagiri Kaduva?

I am working in lot of constrains.

As i am fully into social service, & doesnt have any financial support from govt or ngo, i find it very hard to carry out day to day activites. I many a times may not have even 50 rupees in my pocket.

I do not even have a basic camera.

I now have 8.5 lakhs as debt in the past 9 years, during which i was fully into research in many subjects & other services for the society.

When we were searching for NK using torch in night, they sense us much before we r able 2 see them, & they move way.

Even Basic funds r a big problem 4 me.

In thrissur, Prasad Mangattukara, the local environment activist gave me food & shelter for 2 months..

Therefore it is more due 2 the lack of equipments like IR camera, Night vision camera, vehicle, funds 4 day 2 day activities etc., that we were not able 2 get the photos of NeelagiriKaduva.

If i get those, i will be able to obtain the photo of NK from 1 to 2 months

Forest Department’s Stand: and

1. How that Proves they knows that NeelagiriKaduva exists
2. that They are intentionally Trying to Cover it Up
3. And Thus they want to Destroy NeelagiriKaduva totally

Despite this much Meda Repots the Forest dept. Headquarters / Chief Wildlife Warden has NOT denied the Existence of NeelagiriKaduva till now

They have NOT till now [last Two Years] issued even a Single Statement, either Denying or Approving my Findings about NeelagiriKaduva; which is Very Strange.

1. This is because, they know very well that if they Deny it; I can Refute their points very easily!
2. This is a Strategy that they applied in the case of Kallana [Pygmy Elephants] – The Forest Dept. Hopes that if they keep mum, hoping that in due time, everybody will forget it. But what they didn’t factor was my intention to Save NeelagiriKaduva from Total Extinction & my Long Drawn fight for it.

a.) In the case of Kallana [Pygmy Elephants]; The Forest Dep. had issued Media Releases denying it; though Photo & Video of Kallana [Pygmy Elephants] exists.
b.) The Forest Dep. Has NOT denied the Existence of NeelagiriKaduva till now. Nor issued Media Releases denying it; though Photo & Video of are NOT available in the world. This is because, they know very well that I can easily Disprove them.
4. The mother & the (possible) cub {of NeelagiriKaduva}, were attacked by locals, & the cub was killed in Neyyar dam on 2 Oct 2014. Dr. Jacob Alexander of Thiruvananthapuram Zoo, who had done the Postmortem issued report that the Cub of NeelagiriKaduva [90 % chance according to Dijo Thomas] killed in Neyyar dam was a Feral Dog [Dr. Jacob: Feral dogs are ordinary dogs living as a wild animal] half wild & in forest.]
The forest department concludes that the attacks were by Feral Dog & closes the case as attacks by an ordinary dog. They took 4 samples for DNA tests, due to request from Dijo Thomas.
But they flatly turned down request to preserve the body of dead cub.
Dr. Jacob Alexander had told me that we will get the results within 3 days. The 4 samples taken for DNA tests have not been published even after 4 months. After 4 months, when I put Pressure, it was said that, a chemical added to the samples for sending for DNA tests was ‘conveniently‘ a wrong one & therefore DNA test was not possible. It is a typical attempt at cover-up. If it were any known Species, they need to just have said: “Look, DNA test says this is so and so known Species”. But as it is a New Species, they could not say that, & Therefore the cover-Up.

5. Nobody has been able to disprove my Theory & Proof till now, including prominent Scientists. Many Scientists are personally saying that my Features Based - Species Elimination Method [FB-SEP] has indeed 100 % proved that the animal attacking in Neyyar dam is a New Species, but due to various factors prevailing in India, including Jealousy, Official Slavery, disrespect for Truth etc., are not able to openly support it. In fact I am sure that nobody will be able to disprove it. But still anyone is most welcome to find out any flaws in my Theory & Proof if they can find one / disprove it.

The Neyyar dam episode would have been closed by that report, had Mr. Dijo Thomas been not fighting hard at various levels, & proving his theory to many, including Enviormentalists, Media, Common people, Textbook wildlife experts, Academic wildlife experts, etc. to establish that the animal killed was not a Feral Dog but a NEW Species, NeelagiriKaduva, which is Critically Endangered, & one which should be conserved with utmost importance.

Some Officials & individuals with Vested Interests / Jealousy are trying very hard to prevent the discovery of NeelagiriKaduva being known to the world or to start the Conservation efforts of NeelagiriKaduva.

What are the requirements for You to work & get the first Picture of NeelagiriKaduva?

1. Funds for day to day activities for the Team of 10+ persons = Rs. 60,000 - 1.5 lakhs / month. [ Depending on increasing the Professionality]

2. IR camera [To track NeelagiriKaduva]

3. Night vision camera [To take NeelagiriKaduvas' photos]

4. 1 Vehicle minimum [Preferably an SUV with 4 wheel Drive + related Modifications] +
[Preferably another ordinary vehicle]
5. Field Office & Camp

Scientific Proof:

People frequently ask me whether there is any “Scientific Proof” for what I state, about the animal attacking in Neyyar dam being a New Species.
The reason why they ask such a question in the first place, even after going through the Proof, is because we Indians, especially Keralites, doesn’t understand what Science is!

Their notion is that something tested in the Lab can only be considered as Science! Or something said by a Westerner can be considered as Science!

Most of them, especially Keralites, ask this question to show that they are having High Intelligence, but in reality, it only shows their low IQ. Why so? Because they couldn’t understand what is being said or proved! The “Scientific Proof” question is actually a way of covering that shortcoming.

The details in my proof, proved by me through the Features Based - Species Elimination Method [FB-SEM] is the Scientific Proof!

My Challenge & Promise:

Nobody has been able to disprove my Theory & Proof till now, including prominent Scientists.

Many Scientists are personally saying that my FB-SEM has indeed proved that the animal attacking in Neyyar dam is a New Species, but due to various factors prevailing in India, including Jealousy, Official Slavery, disrespect for Truth etc., are not able to openly support it. In fact I am sure that nobody will be able to disprove it. But still anyone is most welcome to find out any flaws in my Theory & Proof if they can find one / disprove it.

I promise that if somebody can convincingly disprove my Theory & Proof, I will definitely publish it in Global Wildlife Conservation Society [GWCS] website. : Dijo Thomas

A : The News about Discovery of NeelagiriKaduva has been reported in all Prominent Newspapers, which are Truthful & Genuine. People tend to equate Newspaper with Max. no. of Circulation to Truthfullness; but, especially in Kerala the opposite is True.

Everyone knows that Mangalam [2 Reports], Kerala Kaumudi [2 Reports] & Madhyamam are the 3 Newspapers that report most Truthfully & Boldly in Kerala - & they gave detailed coverage about Discovery of NeelagiriKaduva & inaction of Chief Wildlife Warden G. Harikumar, - the one who is opposing the Conservation of NeelagiriKaduva. & Forest Dept.

I thank Mangalam, Kerala Kaumudi, Deccan Chronicle, Madhyamam, Rashtra Deepika [2 Reports], TCV, ACV, VCV & Deepika for the Support for a Very Important Conservation effort.

Those Newspapers which didn't report about the Discovery of NeelagiriKaduva ARE the ones which could be Influenced by the Kerala Forest Department / Politicians / My Enemies.

Why didn't the Report come in any English News Paper in Kerala? [Except Deccan Chronicle - Thrissur & Ernakulam Bureau which reported on 01 April 2016 ]

All the English News Paper in Trivandrum were strongly influenced by the & others. This was because if the report came in English News Papers; people & Environmental Activists outside Kerala & India will come to know about it. And they may put Prussure on the Kerala Forest Department. Which they wanted to avoid at any cost. Till Date [03 July 2016] other English News Papers have Refused to Publish this Important Discovery & even more Important Conservation effort.

Deccan Chronicle - Thrissur Bureau of Deccan Chronicle published a very balanced & Truthfull all Kerala Reort on 01 April 2016. I thank them for the Support for a Very Important Conservation effort. Deccan Chronicle, without doubt, can be said to be the most Truthful& Bold English News Paper in Kerala.
